The amazing prints (and can do two different patterns, one for each leg) are just the start. Well made, good material, Maine made, so much better than any of the competition. Chafing no longer happens, no matter how long the run. LOVE THESE!

How to run smooth and comfortably and look fabulous! These shorts are made so well compared to others, from the fabric to the sewing, and they feel like it.

I absolutely LOVE this print! The colors are so vivid. The fit seems a little snugger at the bottom, I don't know if they've been updated since my last pairs of the 5 inch Women's Shorts, but they don't feel like they're going to rise at all. Unfortunately, I didn't make it very far running the other day, due to hip/IT Band injury, to test the rise factor, but they didn't rise at all on the spin bike.

I am closer to a 6-8 at this time and my friend who wear Spandits said to size down to the S based on her feel of the shorts. Well, the S is a little small on me and I probably should have ordered the M (even though they might have been a little big). These shorts should fit just fine during my slimmer summer months of running (when I would be wearing them more anyway).

Love the Mamba pattern and low-waisted fit. Were a bit shorter than expected (I'm 5'3" and bought mediums, and they are shorter than the old "hands at your side" test for shorts in high school haha), but no biggie, just more bootie to the world! :)

It's nice to see a pair of running shorts that don't feel like bikini bottoms, and that's why I chose the 5-inch inseam. The inseam is just long enough to be comfortable when running, but flattering on my legs. I am a runner with thicker thighs, but only 5'1" and about 115 pounds. The size small fits everywhere comfortably.
They also stay in place when you're moving around, so the fact that they don't ride up is a huge plus. I also wear these with longer "boy short" style underwear for cycling and they also stay put - rare for any athletic shorts! I bought two pair and they'll be in heavy rotation this summer.

I really love these short for hitting the gym. They don't get in the way and stay put. They are not too short to be seen around campus in. Love them!
For sizing purposes. I am 5'4" 125. I agree with the review not to size up. A small is the right size for me.

I'm typically a running skirts gal, but I am sold on these shorts. I am a bit larger in the thigh/buttock area, but the 5" inseam is flattering and doesn't give the 'sausage' look. They are constructed with flat-lock stitching so there is no chance of rubbing or chafing. The waistband sits just above the hips and is very comfortable and doesn't pinch. On one occasion I did had to readjust the legs, but once I'm off and running I haven't had any problems with them riding up. I've found that rubbing a little bit of Body Glide on my legs help them stay put, but otherwise they are perfect once I'm warmed up. The fabric is silky smooth and the pattern choices are fantastic. I currently own the Starry Night pattern and the colors are so vibrant and fun.
I really can't say enough good things about these shorts, they are so comfortable. I love wearing them all the time...running, walking the dogs, playing with the kids, yoga, sleeping...you name it. Now I need to get some more so I can wear them all the time!

I cannot say enough good things about these shorts. I own 3 pairs at this point and will only be adding more to my collection. One might say I'm addicted. I've never experienced any chafing with these shorts and received compliments on them every single time I wear them.
They allow for the ultimate range of movement, great for hanging out, running short and long runs, swimming. You name it.

I use these shorts for distance running, lounging around the house, walking the dog, yoga and dance classes! They are comfortable, do not ride up and fit nicely.
I love the patterns and have gotten many comments during races!
I wash mine in a delicates bag and then air dry - no signs of wear.
